My very first site, from what I remember, was a site dedicated to some fan game I was supposedly going to try and make one day. I made it in Freewebs, in the 6th Grade. I had plans of making the game really spectacular, you know, when you're young you think you can do anything. It didn't last that long, but after that one I went around Geocities and Angelfire and hosts like those.

My first 'worthy' site was created in Geocities. It was actually pretty good too, content-wise. I was using the sitebuilder geocities provides, so the layout was basic and unprofessional (messy, browser-unfriendly, layout changed each page, etc). I was proud of that site though because I got some good feedback and the forum was pretty successful for a while.

My second 'worthy' site I created was called Cherii Berii Wish, which I made in mid-2005/6. It was a personal site, and at first I just used pre-made layouts, which were all pretty, but I soon grew tired of the fact they weren't mine. SO, I started getting to make layouts for myself and though they weren't fabulous, they were mine. It contained personal information, and stuff for visitors. If my files hadn't kept on getting deleted, this site would be under that name too. After several hosts failing me (hosts died out), I gave up on trying to start again over and over.

Technically, this is like the same site as Cherii Berii Wish, but under a different name, url and a new perspective. I'm aiming for more information than the old site/s, and better layouts (once I get more used to making them again) and I hope to restore what I once had. Its not about the visitors as such, although the feeling of knowing that people visit was nice, but its about personal gain and acomplishing something such as this.



Version 4: YUI;; Splash of Colour
June 22nd-?
Cough. Christmas version was up for a long time. Anyway, this is by far my favourite layout ever.
I put a lot of effort into it, can you tell? Anyways, the simple colours of soft orange and blue are contrasted with more vivid shades.
The background helps to keep the sensitivity of the layout shown. One thing I have to complain about is the shoutbox colours.


Version 3: YUI;; Christmas Edition "Christmas Song"
December 2nd-June 22nd
I kind of like the colours, but there is kind of something that seems...not very Christmas-sy about it.
Oh well. I think it is cute anyways. >w< I like it.
It's kind of similar to the 2nd version, but with a new image, colours, and slight coding changes.
That is why I hesitated on whether or not I should make it V:3 or V:2.5 at first.


Version 2: YUI;; Thank you my teens
November 9th-December 2nd
A very blue layout (my favourite color). ^^;;
One thing I don't like about this layout is the heading (Cherii Melody)
It seems a bit out of place. Maybe I should've left it out.
Made in Paint Shop Pro, because I'm lazy to learn Photoshop properly enough to make a decent layout.


Version 1: YUI;; The music in me
September 20th-November 9th
This was a simple layout mainly consisting of purple and orange colors.
It was good for a while, but the navigation got a bit annoying because it was a bit small.
